The rooms are small but clean and comfortable with

This is a funky little hotel - very art deco-ish.
There is a little theater that
has an off beat performance every Tuesday night.
Hotel's By The Hour
ST. MARKS HOTEL 2 St. Marks Place

If you are looking for a quick room use, this will do.
Its clean enough with
private bathroom. The front desk have no interest in what you doing so you can
feel comfortable.
And your in the East Village, so everything goes down here.

catering mostly to travelers just passing
through.
The rooms are very small, relatively clean and perfect for a place to
dress, and then a place to crash for the night.
However, it is an upscale
neighborhood, so you have to be man enough to wear a dress :)
